The Brainchild of the Ordinary Chef – From Inspiration, Ideas to Invention.
Inspiration is like a light within us and through passion, knowledge and commitment; it allows us to do extraordinary things. For most of our lives, this light remains switched off. There will always be that one particular day and moment, when you feel so inspired to create something. Take advantage of that. Break the rules. Fail. Fail miserably. Because that is when you will get up even more stronger than you were. The world is a playground, you know that when you are a kid, but after a while being busy as an ‘adult’, we tend to forget that kid.
I believe that inspiration comes from anywhere, 24 hours a day, all that which can be found in everyday things and it comes to me anytime. Whenever I smell a certain scent, whenever I see a fruit, when I am in the company of my family, I try to relate it back to the culinary methods and the different spices that I can use.
I get out of the office where I can get the best ideas. The best ideas usually comes from somewhere completely random and from my mom who is a caterer operating out from home.
This helps me find myself and stay true to what I love doing.
